CodeExorcist (“we,” “us”) provides paid application review services. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website, submit a booking form, or pay through Stripe.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Contact and account details you enter on the booking form, such as your name or app name, email address, and optional WhatsApp number.
- Submission materials such as GitHub repository links, staging or production URLs, uploaded project archives, and any notes or concerns you provide about your product.
- Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number on our servers. Stripe’s privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and approximate location may be logged by our hosting provider or security tools for fraud prevention and reliability.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Deliver the review you purchased, communicate about access to your repo or files, and send deliverables.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Respond to support requests and improve our service.
- Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations where applicable.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
Where required, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the service you paid for), legitimate interests (security, quality, and communication about your order), and consent where we ask for it explicitly.
Sharing information
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Stripe for payment processing. See Stripe’s documentation for how they process payment data.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store our database and serve the website.
- Email or messaging providers we use to send transactional messages (for example, confirmations).
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep submission and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with tax and accounting rules. You may ask us to delete or export certain data subject to legal exceptions.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights

Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
